About The Artist
The day Kirsten Schroeder discovered poured painting was the day an artist was born. The exquisite juxtaposition of the primary acrylic colours flowing together opened a door into a world full of mystery. Ever since Kirsten has been dedicated to artistic exploration, producing original abstract works rich with blended hues unattainable by brush or computer. Deeper exploration has led to a unique pressing technique that forms the basis for most of her paintings. For Schroeder each piece is a product of divine collaboration between the universe, artist, medium and onlooker.
